2024 gardening season renting starts March 15th. .

You can rent an are (size 10m x 10m) for gardening and farming. You can rent an are (10m x 10m) or half an are (5m x 10 m). The Allotment gardens are located in Jokipuisto (Central of Mikkeli), Urpola, Lehmuskylä and Orijärvi (Rantakylä). 

All maintenance and fertilization is done by the renter. All one year ares are cultivated by our organisation. All possible cultivations of several year ares must be done by the renter. 

Please note, that one year plots are best for growing seasonal plants and vegetables (potato, carrots, herbs, flowers etc.). Several year plots are best for growing berries, rhubarb and other plants and vegetables that require several seasons of gardening.

NEW POLICY ABOUT THE NEXT GARDENING SEASON 2024:

FIRST please read this information carefully, as it contains important information.

In 2024 the gardening areas remain the same, we still have four different locations available. You can rent areas FOR ONE YEAR at a time or FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN A ROW.  If we possibly can, we will try to rent the same area for the same gardener, as it was in previous season.

Paying methods for 2024:
Associations and organisations: Card payment or an Invoice
Private person: Card payment ONLY (down by the office)

Please note that in 2024 a private person cannot pay the rent in cash or recieve an invoice.

We require payment before you can start using your plot.

Our personnel will be paying more attention to the tidiness of the areas in 2024. We will also ensure that all renters follow common quidelines.

Allotment garden price list 2024:
Several years-contract, a whole are- 36€ / season
Several years-contract, half an are-  18 € / season

One year- contract, a whole are- 40 € / season
One year-contract, half an are- 20 € / season
